For body unable to excrete waste materials adequately, commonly resulting in liver and kidney failure. To prevent this, the Gerson Therapy uses intensive detoxification to eliminate wastes, regenerate the liver, reactivate the immune system and restore the body's essential defences – enzyme, mineral and hormone systems.
With generous, high-quality nutrition, increased oxygen availability, detoxification, and improved metabolism, the cells – and the body – can regenerate, become healthy and prevent future illness. A very important part of the Gerson Therapy is frequent detoxification of the tissues and blood. This is accomplished through a variety of means, first and foremost through the use of coffee enemas.
When you do a coffee retention enema the Caffeine in the coffee relaxes the smooth muscles in the body. This allows the Liver and the Gallbladder to almost immediately dump all the bile and toxins that they were holding into the colon for excretion. The Liver is then free to do its job at full capacity, effectively removing the toxins and poisons from the body.
Also, and more importantly, the coffee enema contains Palmitic Acid, this ingredient gets the liver to produce an Enzyme glutathione-S-transferase that cleans the blood, also cause increased bile flow.
Single-dose: Take 3 rounded tablespoonfuls of finely ground organic certified coffee and add to about a litre of distilled or filtered water. (Note: only distilled or filtered water is to be used for the enema). Boil briskly for 3 minutes, then simmer covered for 15 minutes. Filter out the solution using a fine strainer lined with cheesecloth. This will result in something less than a litre of liquid. Fill to a litre with water and cool to body temperature (warm to the touch) before use.
Concentrated dose: Take 12 rounded tablespoonfuls of finely ground our organic certified coffee which approved from Gerson sources and add to about 2 litres of water. Follow the boiling, simmer, and straining procedures as above. Fill to 2 litres with water and divided into 4 portions to bottle and refrigerate when cooled, to last up to 2 days.
When using, take each portion and add to a litre of water, with the same procedure under “Single Dose” as needed for enema: Plastic enema bucket or bag, connector with rubber or plastic tube, one litre of coffee solution, plastic pad/sheet to place under you with a towel. A lubricant such as Vaseline or non –petroleum-based. Hot plate to keep coffee warm.
Administering the Enema:
Prepare a comfortable place, preferably in the bathroom in case of an accident. Close hose valve so the coffee will not drain out. Pour one litre of coffee solution at body temperature into enema bag or bucket of sufficient capacity.
Hang bucket or bag on-hook from doorknob or towel rack, 30 to 45 cm above your body.
Lie down on your right; knees slightly bend towards your chest in a relaxed position. Cover your body with a blanket to keep warm and a pillow to rest comfortably.
Lubricate nozzle or tip of hose with Vaseline or lubricant, and insert 3 to 5 cm (2 to 3”) into your rectum, slowly release valve, gently allow the solution to flow into your intestines.
At any point you experience cramping, stop the flow, breathe deeply, relax, and let it pass before continuing. If it does not pass, go to the toilet and release and return to repeat. Your goal is to get the entire solution into your intestine,
hold it for no less than 12 minutes, no more than 15 minutes. If difficult to hold the enema, first use about 350 ml warm water enemas to empty the colon. It may take some time before you are able to hold the entire litre.
Don’t worry or be anxious. Practice makes perfect. Your body is beginning to release toxicity towards better health. Make sure you have sufficient and balanced nutrition before doing the enema.
